1. Scope
This policy applies to the Benny Digital Art website and Benny Digital Art Pin Workflow, a private Windows desktop application used by the business owner to prepare, review, schedule and publish approved content to the business's own Pinterest account. Benny Digital Art trades online as Benny Digital Art Co and operates the BennyDigiArtCo Etsy shop.
2. Information the website handles
This website does not provide user accounts, accept payments, run advertising trackers, or contain a contact form. Purchases are completed on Etsy and are governed by Etsy's own privacy practices.
The website loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When a visitor's browser requests those files, Google may receive ordinary technical request information such as the visitor's IP address, browser type and request time. External links to Etsy and Pinterest take visitors to those services, where their respective privacy policies apply.
3. Pinterest information handled by the application
When the business owner connects the application to Pinterest through Pinterest's OAuth authorization flow, the application may handle:
- Pinterest OAuth access and refresh tokens;
- basic Pinterest account identifiers returned by the API;
- Board names and Board identifiers needed to select a publishing destination;
- Pin identifiers, titles, descriptions, links, images, publishing status and related metadata; and
- Pin performance information when an analytics feature is deliberately used.
The application does not request, collect or store Pinterest passwords, verification codes or browser session cookies.
4. How information is used
Information is used only to authenticate the business owner's Pinterest account, display available Boards, prepare and review original Benny Digital Art content, publish Pins selected and approved by the operator, maintain publishing status, and review content performance. It is not used for unrelated advertising or profiling.
5. Storage and retention
Benny Digital Art Pin Workflow is designed as a local Windows desktop workflow. Application configuration, OAuth tokens, selected content and publishing records are stored on the owner's Windows computer rather than in a public customer database. Records remain until they are deleted by the operator, are no longer needed for the workflow, or the Pinterest connection is removed.
6. Sharing and disclosure
Information is sent to Pinterest only as needed to complete OAuth authorization and the Pinterest API actions initiated by the operator. Website requests may also be processed by hosting and font-delivery providers as described above. Benny Digital Art does not sell or rent personal information.
7. Operator choice, access and deletion
The operator reviews and selects each Pin before it is added to the publishing schedule. Pinterest access can be revoked through the connected Pinterest account. Local tokens, cached Pinterest data and publishing records can also be removed from the device. Questions or deletion requests can be sent to [email protected].
8. Security
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect locally stored credentials and publishing data, including limiting access to the business operator and avoiding the collection of Pinterest passwords. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children's privacy
The website and application are intended for business use and are not directed to children. Benny Digital Art does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the application.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the application, its data practices or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when material updates are published.
